Computer are basically of three types :

 
   Microcomputer :-

Micro computer are generally used computers and it can be used by all most  everyone. The microcomputer is originated in late 1970s.
Microcomputers are two types :-
   Desktop computer :-
It is generally used computer which has separate monitor, CPU, Mouse etc.
   Laptop computer  :-

It is a compact computer which is like a briefcase. It contains monitor, CPU, mouse in a single part.  

   Minicomputer :-

These types of computer are used for server in big companies. These computers contains multiprocessor and these are so much faster than general computers

   Supercomputer :-

These are very big in size computers. These contains multiprocessor and multi motherboard. These are much faster than minicomputers.

The three main big companies which make computers are :
   INTEL
   IBM
   HP
